Mr. Marc Willich has a degree in civil engineering from TU Braunschweig University in Germany. His career with Deutsche Bahn AG began in 2002 when he joined DB Netz AG as planning engineer and project manager for the structural engineering sector. Since then, he has worked for various companies in the DB Group, in positions such as project control officer and project manager for line upgrading projects and as chief technical representative of the client for large-scale projects in south-western Germany (incl. Stuttgart 21). In his capacity as expert for preventive fire protection, Marc Willich was in charge of implementation of the DB Station & Service AG fire protection refurbishment program between 2007 and 2012.Since 2012, in his position as Head of Production Preparation and Optimization, he has been primarily responsible amongst other things for rollout of the BIM method for all DB Station & Service AG projects.
